Nevada's age of consent is 16. There is a close-in-age exemption: sexual activity with a 14- or 15-year-old is a lesser offense if the defendant is less than four years older, under Nevada Revised Statutes Section 200.368.

Nevada requires comprehensive sex education that is medically accurate, inclusive of LGBTQ+ identities and relationships, and includes consent education. The mandate is strong for the region. Nevada has updated its sex education requirements to reflect current standards on inclusivity and medical accuracy. Districts must cover contraception, STI prevention, and healthy relationships.

Nevada has among the most permissive adult entertainment laws in the United States. Prostitution is legal in licensed brothels in counties outside Clark County (Las Vegas) and Washoe County (Reno), making Nevada the only state with legal regulated prostitution. Las Vegas has a world-famous adult entertainment industry, including strip clubs, adult theaters, and escort services. The overall legal and regulatory framework for adult entertainment is more permissive than any other state.

Nevada has among the most permissive adult entertainment laws in the US — Las Vegas entertainment industry. Comprehensive sex ed mandate.
