State Laws & Overview
Hawaii Revised Statutes §712-1217 covers indecent exposure. No officially designated nude beaches, but Little Beach on Maui and Red Hill on Oahu are de facto clothing-optional and rarely enforced against. Spencer Beach Park on the Big Island has a clothing-optional section by tradition.

Maui's beloved clothing-optional beach, accessed by climbing over a lava rock point from Big Beach (Oneloa). Fine white sand, snorkeling, and a Sunday evening drum circle tradition. De facto nude beach for decades.

Red Hill Beach
Makapuu area, Oahu
Remote Oahu beach accessible by trail from Makapuu Lighthouse area. Traditional clothing-optional use.
